Somewhere between the kettle and the chaos, we became known as Lord and Lady Spillington-hosts of this curious little harbour of tea, mischief, and remarkably good taste.

In 2024, we took over what was once The Tea Brewery and quietly stepped into a new chapter as Spill the Tea.
What began as a bold—and at times slightly unhinged—decision soon became something far more meaningful.
Our goal was never simply to run a shop.
It was to breathe new life into a place people already loved, while honouring what made it special—offering thoughtfully sourced, carefully blended loose leaf teas, and creating an experience that feels both elevated and welcoming.
But somewhere along the way, something unexpected happened.
The shop began to take on a life of its own.
What started as a business slowly became a place where people linger.
Where conversations unfold.
Where laughter carries across the room.
Where a single cup of tea turns into something more.
Today, Spill the Tea is a little harbour in Mahone Bay—a place where locals and travellers alike can pause, connect, and enjoy something quietly special.
And somewhere between the chaos and the kettle…
